What are your random skills?

I was reading through a friends CV a couple of weeks ago, then this post from Runaway Kiwi popped up the next day.

(This is a bit of a lightweight post befitting the gorgeous weather and as I'm at a Blogger conference this weekend learning how to be a good blogger... if you are one of my new blog mates, helllooo!)

My friend and I started discussing all of the skills, not necessarily to put on your CV, but that you're weirdly proud of (and I'm not talking anything kinky, just everyday. Get your mind out of the gutter please!)

We really sat back, and tried to come up with a list. I'd consider mine to include being good at;
  • Wrapping presents
  • Making tea
  • Calming people down (living in England this usually combines well with the tea making)
  • Listening
  • Buttering soft bread properly
  • Eating biscuits
  • Planning holidays
  • Starting things (not so good a continuing them though hence the 101 in 1001 keeping me on track)
  • Organising people (handy especially at work)
  • Putting furniture together
  • Random conversations and small talk
What are yours?

(Ps. I like to think that one of mine is putting together Foodie Packages and having awesome blog mates who makes beautiful pendants - enter my blogoversary giveaway here to find out)

  1. Haha! I love this. "Buttering soft bread properly." Not a common skill set! :) One of my random skills - packing light and efficiently for a trip. :)

    1. Packing lightly is a really great skill to have - my colleague went on a sun filled holiday and took more luggage just for herself than hubby and I took to the US, combined!
Holes in soft bread sarnies is criminal!

  2. Already addicted to this. My top random skill has to be memorising shopping lists.
