Paris #travelthursdays

“He who contemplates the depths of Paris is seized with vertigo.
Nothing is more fantastic. Nothing is more tragic.
Nothing is more sublime.”
― Victor Hugo

"The last time I saw Paris, her heart was warm and gay,
I heard the laughter of her heart in every street café."
― Oscar Hammerstein II

“Mine was the twilight and the morning.
Mine was a world of rooftops and love songs.”
― Roman Payne, Rooftop Soliloquy

“Paris is a woman but London is an independent man puffing his pipe in a pub.”
― Jack Kerouac, Lonesome Traveler

Paris, it's been too long since I explored your cobbled streets (as proven by the low-res photos). Whether it's only for a couple of intensive days, or a luxurious lunch, I need to recharge my Parisian batteries (and stock up on patisserie).

...now, what was the Eurostar number again?

  3. Gorgeous Paris shots! I thought the first photo of the Eiffel Tower was beautiful but then I saw the macarons! The glasses of rosé topped it off perfectly :)

  4. I know bloggers these days put a lot of emphasis on professional looking photographs, but there is something about low-res pictures that makes it feel more realistic. Like a memory, it is not perfectly sharp, but still beautiful.
