Friday figments and photos: the offline world

I adore blogging, love it with a fierceness that I can’t quite believe sometimes. It’s a creative outlet, one that allows for indulgence, mischief, a little bit of chaos now and then & a heck of a lot of adventures (hence my choice of name).

My favorite posts are often these ones – tidbits of the week that was, an online journal of the things that made me smile (one without papercuts!) for those few short days.

This one was remarkable for it’s offline nature. Without my phone constantly flashing, I just took a few extra moments to wander. A few
moments to linger over a coffee, play permatourist on a London Double

And now it’s back to situation normal… BRING ON THE WEEKEND!

PS. We announced this month’s travel linkup topic – a homily to our greatest drug – and an introduction to Blog Addicts Anonymous,
the self help group where you can share your emotions with the world
(accompanied by a beautifully ironic flat lay image). Our
families pine for us, our friends giggle at our overuse of hashtags,
our plants suffer from lack of water due to gin consumption, cold food
awaits our eager forks and let’s not mention those gymnastic selfies…

Just pop your post up over the first week of the month (the 1st – 7th October), add it to the link up widget – found on either Rebecca’s Kelly’s and my blog or on our lovely co-host Anna at Penelope and Parker – from the 1st of the month. Everyone is welcome…
