2018 has been full of travel, adventures, bad hairstyles in photos and explorations.

Travel wishlist 2019 Adventures of a London Kiwi

My first couple of months were concentrated on building my business and scooting around London (fitting in a few bits of London sightseeing and restaurant visits) before we flew to Romania for a week to explore the Transylvanian castles and political history of Bucharest. I fitted in a cheeky solo beach break in Bournemouth in the middle of a busy project, I explored Basel in Switzerland solo (where in one day I managed 3 meals in 3 countries) and went on a group trip to Cologne, Germany

Mr Kiwi and I took a relaxing trip to Salzburg which included a break in the Austrian Lakes, broke into an Oxfordshire prison (hotel), took several trips up to Lincolnshire, explored Bristol, danced at a wedding in a Scottish castle and a drink heavy break floating along Amsterdam canals. Then, I disappeared away to New Zealand for a few delicious weeks of sunshine, enjoyed a second girls weekend in Budapest, drove over to France & Belgium, before finishing with a sunshine break in Gibraltar and two months swearing off travelling.

Travel Wishlist 2019 Adventures of a London Kiwi

All in all, it’s been a lovely year. Travel has never been a race for me – I’ve always picked destinations on my own terms, and for my own reasons (more often than not the history or food of a place) and that’s something that isn’t going to change going into 2019. I do however treasure every single memory.

On our possible travel wishlist for 2019 – thanks to some of the travels amazing bloggers I love to read have done, flipping through my favourite travel magazines and sites, plus the history of some of these cities –  I’ve narrowed down my usual answer of ‘all the world’ to a selection of places.

More adventures in the UK

Istanbul, Turkey

Santorini, Greece

Who knows where 2019 will take me & the blog! Will I get to all of these places on this travel wishlist? Probably not – and that’s equally fine. Wherever we end up will be just amazing I’m sure.

Thank you so much for following along, sharing and inspiring me so very much. I hope your 2019 is just as full of adventure as you desire!
