Well, to be honest, November was equal turns surprising and amazing. So, I think I’d be having a rum punch in lieu of a coffee (or maybe a Jamaica Coffee – dark rum, coffee liqueur, coffee, heavy cream and coffee beans. But, I digress.)
It was rather destined to be lovely – Mr Kiwi and I had a holiday to Dubrovnik booked, missing all of their summer crowds, so we spent nearly a week exploring the ancient Croatian city. I guess you could ‘do’ Dubrovnik in a couple of days, but we wanted to really relax and explore.
So, we hired a city apartment buried right in the medieval centre, booked in a couple of day trips to other countries and spent a fair amount of time drinking beer on cliffside bars. More on that in separate posts I think – including a rather wet exploration of Mostar in Bosnia.
We had plans for a few Thanksgiving meals – one annual Friendsgiving (complete with a few feline guests)…
…and one high up over London at Aqua Shard.
We slipped back up to Aqua for their Christmas tree reveal…
…and I’ve had several client photoshoots – all rather delectable.
