If We Were Having Coffee | January Edition

If we were having coffee, at this point it would probably be a home-brewed cup, flavoured heavily with vanilla.

Favourite Freelance Coffee Spots in London Adventures of a London Kiwi

I’ve been home a lot this month – working away busily on a few future plans, getting ready to launch something a little special (keep reading for a sneak peek), planning some extensive garden works that will pay handsome dividends in summer, keeping an eye on our poorly cat (who seems to be getting a little bit better), slipping in a blog post here and there & getting very obsessed with the Syfy series The Magicians.

Basically, my face has been replaced with a laptop screen. We were lucky enough to see the New Year in the beautiful Savoy Hotel with old friends…

…then we popped to Bath Spa for my first trip of the year (on the 3rd of January no less – breaking my very own record!)

I’ve been working away on an online Instagram Stories course, specifically tailored for bloggers and influencers who want to supercharge their Stories. I’ve taken a lot of the experience in my day job (doing social media for national businesses and international charities) and used to help bloggers and influencers. Tap here to add yourself to the VIP list and be the first to hear about the launch.

We also fit in a cheeky spa staycation in Oxfordshire…

…and a rather lovely brunch to start the New Year at Berners Tavern.

I also fit in a lovely birthday dinner with Mr Kiwi, a special NZ themed mini-exhibition at my favourite museum in London, the Victoria and Albert, did a painting class and finally headed to Vardo for brunch. Actually, I’ve been out from my laptop a little more than I had thought!

I’ve been enjoying loads of great blogposts – especially the guilty pleasures themed travel linkup ones!

How’s your January been?
