If we were having coffee, I’d very much hope it was on my hotel balcony, overlooking the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The sun would be shining, there would be a local band playing over the other side of the river and the only plans we’d have would be to do another Pinxtos crawl later today. That’s a bit specific, sorry…
What else happened this month?
I’ve been ignoring the weather with a lot of fun planned in. There’s been been a lot of dim sum in my immediate past – from last-minute wander-ins to Ping Pong to more organised lunch dates finally trying Din Tai Fung with the work bestie.
You just can’t beat China town dim sum, freshly made.
I’ve done a fair bit of London wandering too…
…not to mention catching up with friends and letting them talk me into Michelin Star dinners.
We attended a very special dinner at St Pancras Renaissance hotel – more to come on our evening, soon!
We’ve had some extensive garden landscaping happening – which I’m beyond thrilled about…
…and a bit of hiding from drills and building works, doubling up as planning for some upcoming trips.
There’s also been a fair amount of Kiwi and Aussie events and catchups – it’s been a busy old month. That’s for sure. But they do say no rest for the wicked, right?
Whilst having coffee this month, I’ve also been enjoying a litany of friend’s blog posts – seeing Audrey Louise’s journey of motherhood, Binny’s fairytale French Chateau stay, Amanda’s slow and relaxing weekend recommendations (all of which I definitely need), Angie’s first family ski trip with her son Oscar and everything Sima has been up to recently.
Oh, I almost forgot to mention – I’ve launched a really exciting competition with Aqua Nueva. Make sure you enter, quick!
How has your month been?
