Manuka Kitchen: Restaurant Review

Manuka Kitchen: Restaurant Review

If you’ve been reading this humble blog for awhile (and if so, thank you), you’ll have twigged that my friends and I are becoming serial weekend brunchers, and have been tending to check out Kiwi-esque brunch spots in the capital. The Manuka Kitchen is such a place. Opened in the last few months at time of writing, Manuka Kitchen in Fulham is a self-start up, run by Tyler Martin (the Chef, originating from New Plymouth,… View Post

The Modern Pantry: Restaurant Review

The Modern Pantry: Restaurant Review

I think I’ve said it before, but Brunch is swiftly becoming my favourite meal of the day. A few friends and I have checked out another few of London’s Kiwi brunch spots – Kopapa (which I’ve found out recently means “Meeting Place”), the Providores and Caravan (Kings Cross) all run by Kiwi chefs with a passion for good food and great atmosphere. Caravan, Kings Cross

Caravan, Kings Cross

Saturday Brunch at The Providores

We had pretty poor seats as the luck… View Post

Sunday Brunch at Kopapa

Sunday Brunch at Kopapa

To round off the weekend, brunch was arranged with a new friend at Kopapa. I have to confess, we definately were keen to check it out, not only as the reviews are great and chef is Kiwi Peter Gordon; but also as afghans, good coffee, date scones and spirulina were calling – a varieties of good Kiwi fare. We really enjoyed it; great food, good company and all out of the pouring rain. Hearing so much about them,… View Post
