Things to do in Dubrovnik | The Relaxation Edit

How on earth do I describe Dubrovnik in a way that sufficiently does the city justice and doesn’t just boil down to yet another ‘things to do in Dubrovnik’ blog post list?

    Things to do in Dubrovnik

When deciding where to go, we took our time researching and consulting friends who had been to the city for longer than just a cruise ship day offloading (a source of many visitors) and when a good friend suggested that if we go to Croatia, that we visit most perfectly preserved medieval cities in the world we fell on her suggestion.

Where to Stay In Rheims | Champagne, France

On this trip to Rheims, instead of simply visiting as a day trip from Paris, we stayed overnight in the Continental Hotel, a very short walk through beautiful gardens from the train station. I was a guest of the Régionale du Tourisme Grand-Est and I would 100% stay in this beautiful hotel again on my own. Where to stay in Rheims

    What-to-do-in-Rheims-France

10 of the best cat cafes in the world

I have a confession to make. I have a full blown cat addiction, and, I’m not even sorry. Those soft little ears, twitching tails and indifferent faces cast a spell that have us dashing around the globe and visiting enough cat cafes to have a shortlist of 10 of the best cat cafes in the world. All the while a sleepy little tabby cat snoozes at home in London…

The Best Places Long Weekend in Budapest Adventures of a London Kiwi

Once we’ve booked flights and perused hotels, Google searching for a cat cafe is one of the first things I do – and I’ve been accused of carrying out those 3 tasks in a slightly different order. It’s something I can neither confirm nor deny, but we do have a rather high hit rate of booking accommodation close to cat cafes. I’ll just leave that there, shall I?

    Mint Restaurant Review Tewkesbury Park

One of the main reasons for going up to stay at the lovely Tewkesbury Park (a full review of our hotel stay here) was to try the delicious dishes served in the newly refurbished Mint Restaurant. Disclaimer: We were invited to spend a weekend at Tewkesbury Park but all thoughts, images and fork twirlings are very much my own.

Mint Restaurant Review Gloucester Tewkesbury Park Hotel Adventures of a London Kiwi

Hotel restaurants can be hit and miss – we stayed in a hotel a fortnight later that didn’t hold a candle to just how delicious Mint Restaurant at Tewkesbury Park was.
